Associated Press sources are reporting a statistically impossible tragedy for U.S. forces in Afghanistan– that of the 38 NATO forces killed in a helicopter crash Friday night, “more than 20? were members of SEAL Team 6, the covert unit that took credit for killing Osama bin Laden in May.

Mainstream sources are seizing upon claims that the Taliban took credit for downing the helicopter, but that means nothing. Media instantly ran reports that al Qaeda was responsible for the bombing & shootings in Norway; moreover, anyone on a message board can make such claims.

Instead, Alex Jones predicted shortly after the raid on bin Laden’s compound that SEALs would soon be reported dead in a helicopter crash or staged incident following multiple reports from military sources who’ve proved accurate in the past, including on-air callers, that SEALs did indeed die during the raid. Official stories admitted after-the-fact that a helicopter went down during the mission, but claimed there were no deaths of U.S. forces.

Does the video above show a UFO “mothership” and a fleet of spacecraft hovering in the sky over London, England?

It certainly seems to be sparking interest. Since being posted on YouTube Friday, it’s been viewed more than 835,000 times.

The video, taken by a pedestrian on a London street, shows three shining circular dots moving around the sky. Then a larger shape appears and hovers for a while, before abruptly moving behind a cloud.
“There’s a UFO up there,” says a man in the crowd.

Two similar videos have also appeared on YouTube recently. That’s led some to question whether the whole thing might just be a clever promotional campaign—a less alien concept in a world city today.

Whatever the truth about the video, some experts think we’re likely to come into contact with alien life forms sooner or later–perhaps sooner. “Life exists on other planets, and we will find it within 20 years,” a top Russian astronomer said Monday.

Thousands of dead birds and fish in Arkansas leave many scratching heads

Maybe the Mayans were on to something?

That’s surely what students of the famed Mayan 2012 prophecy for the end of the world had to be thinking with the news of recent eerie wildlife die-offs in Arkansas. Just as the calendar nudged a year closer to that fateful date, birds began falling from the sky in Arkansas and a massive fish kill occurred some 125 miles to the west.

Roughly 5,000 red-winged blackbirds fell from the sky over a mile of land near Beebe, a small town in northwest Arkansas, and observers spotted the fish kill near the town of Ozark. You can watch a video report on the blackbirds below, courtesy of ABC News:

Scientists in Israel have developed a transparent material with “the hardest organic nanostructure known to man,” according to Discovery News. Based on artificial proteins similar to (and simpler than) the beta-amlyoid proteins that have been linked to Alzheimer’s disease, and covered with transparent nanospheres, the new material is very, very strong: in order to cut it, a diamond-tipped probe would have to apply twice the pressure it would take to cut Kevlar. Mystery Baby: Nigerian Family Gives Birth To White, Non-Albino, Baby

British Nmachi Ihegboro has amazed genetics experts who say the little girl is NOT an albino.

Dad Ben, 44, a customer services adviser, admitted: “We both just sat there after the birth staring at her.” Mum Angela, 35, of Woolwich, South London, beamed as she said: “She’s beautiful – a miracle baby.”
Ben told yesterday how he was so shocked when Nmachi was born, he even joked: “Is she MINE?”

He added: “Actually, the first thing I did was look at her and say, ‘What the flip?’” But as the baby’s older brother and sister – both black – crowded round the “little miracle” at their home in South London, Ben declared: “Of course she’s mine.”

Blue-eyed blonde Nmachi, whose name means “Beauty of God” in the Nigerian couple’s homeland, has baffled genetics experts because neither Ben nor wife Angela have ANY mixed-race family history. (more…)
