Kobe Bryant reportedly loses all three of his mansions, $75 million, in divorce settlement

L.A. Laker Superstar, Kobe Bryant
Did you know that Kobe Bryant owns three mansions in Newport Beach, alone? No? Let that swirl around for a second, and now learn that Kobe Bryant does not own three mansions in Newport Beach anymore. Those houses, and a princely $75 million sum, have been sent to Kobe’s ex-wife Vanessa in the couple’s divorce settlement.
TMZ is reporting that the $75 million figure represents half of Kobe’s … er, “the couple’s” total assets. The quick split and even quicker payoff (all three of his houses?) would appear to lend credibility to the idea that Kobe wanted absolutely nothing to do with his ex-wife potentially going on record to air whatever dirty laundry that emanated from what was at times a contentious and fitful 10-year marriage — including reports of massive amounts of infidelity. One of the three mansions is even still in the construction stage, but she’s getting that one too. According to Wikipedia, and this massive lump sum of cash and real estate, the former couple did not put together a prenuptial agreement before tying the knot in April of 2001. The Bryants have two daughters, and we wish both parties well as they move on in their personal lives.

The wife of Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders said Tuesday she learned about his decision to end their marriage when she read it online. Pilar Biggers-Sanders’ lawyer Larry Friedman told TMZ she was “heartbroken and surprised when [she] read . . . that Deion announced his decision, on his own.”
“Pilar’s sole focus and top priority for the last twelve and a half years has been her marriage and children,” he added. “Based on recent discoveries, [Pilar] now realizes that Deion did not view their family the same way.”
Friedman would not elaborate on what the “discoveries” were.
The lawyer said Biggers-Sanders had not negotiated a divorce settlement with the 44-year-old, and that she fully intended to protect herself and their three children. Biggers-Sanders, however, was still not convinced the marriage was over and said she was “confident that he will come to his senses and return to his family as he has in the past.” Sanders made the announcement Dec. 17 in a statement to the entertainment website, saying, “Pilar and I have decided to end our marriage and move on to the next phase of our individual lives with mutual respect. WIll and Jada Are Doing Just Fine, Thank You!
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are doing just fine, thank you very much.
After a tabloid claimed Tuesday that the couple have separated after almost 14 years of marriage, an insider close to Will, 42, and Jada, 39, tells Us Weekly the story is “100 percent not true…It’s total bulls***.” After meeting on the set of Fresh Prince of Bel Air in 1990, the superstar couple tied the knot on New Year’s Eve in 1997, and are parents to actor-singer kids Jaden, 13, and Willow, 10, plus Trey, 18, Will’s son from his first marriage.
Indeed, there were no signs of trouble when Pinkett Smith recently appeared on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight — with her man proudly watching in the wings. “He stood in the wings and flew in to be by her side,” a show source says. “They were super affectionate…They were like teenagers, so in love!”
Back in June 2009, Pinkett Smith shot down speculation about her marriage. “I’ve heard all the things — their marriage is not real, he’s gay, she’s gay, they swing,” the Hawthorne actress said. “But at the end of the day, people have to believe what they have to believe. I’ll tell you what, it’s too hard to be in a pretend marriage. Life’s too short for that one.”

When you marry you better be sure especially when you are rich.Rapper Nas realizes its cheaper to keep her– he’s trying to win back his estranged wife, Kelis (despite the fact she’s suing him over child support) and now he owes the IRS a huge chunk of change.
TMZ reported the tax lien the IRS slapped on Nas back in October to the tune of $2,584,206.31. Now, according to court docs, Nas’ bill has ballooned to a whopping $3,365,671.26. TMZ initially broke this story but the racist characterization they use by referring to Kelis as a baby mama implies black couples dont get married has forced many to look elsewhere for the Nas/Kelis updates.
