Donald Trump, de facto leader of the so-called “birther” movement, called into “The Situation Room” on Tuesday for what quickly became a testy interview with Wolf Blitzer about Trump’s continued skepticism over the authenticity of President Obama’s Hawaiian birth certificate.
Trump, in Las Vegas to host a fundraiser for Mitt Romney on Tuesday, took issue with Blitzer’s introduction and a CNN report that ran before the interview, both of which asserted that Trump, real estate mogul and reality show star, is standing by his birther comments. Trump claimed he agreed to the “Situation Room” interview to talk about jobs, China and OPEC; Blitzer said there were no such ground rules. (more…)
Trump’s office released an official statement outlining The Donald’s reasons for bowing out of the 2012 presidential race . The news came as a surprise to some, especially considering the ground Trump was gaining among 2012 Republican hopefuls.

Donald Trump may be leading the GOP field in the polls, but early numbers are completely and totally meaningless.
This Tuesday marks 22 years since a young, white woman jogging in Central Park was brutally raped, beaten and left for dead on a secluded path along the Loch in the northern part of the park. The show, which premieres Thursday (6/16/2010) at 9pm, gives viewers a taste of the drama to come. Some have to wonder if these singers are just looking for exposure for upcoming projects.
Some say its the opposite of flavor of love and claim the show as perhaps the first dating show centered on the “black professional class.” But the show’s embarrasses just by its racial undertones. For example, when the men arrive at the Trump hotel in Las Vegas where the show is set, a white representative extols the hotel’s beauty, and then presents the men with the chief of security, saying: “He’s going to ensure personally that all of you act like gentlemen.” Caramanica calls the scene “ludicrous,” and it’s definitely a strange thing for a hotel employee to say to a group of adult (and in some cases, middle-aged) professional men, some of whom are fathers.
No spinoff of “The Apprentice” would be complete without a catch phrase uttered by the boss when a contestant has to leave the show. Where “The Apprentice” had “You’re fired,” Omarosa’s signature kiss-off is (more…)
