The Majestic Plastic Bag – A Mockumentary
Millions of plastic bags a year end up in the “great garbage patch” in the Pacific Ocean. Caught by ocean currents, the bags and many other plastic products will remain there until they disintegrate—but never biodegrade—into smaller and smaller pieces of plastic.
A coalition of California groups is working to eliminate single-use plastic bags from the state’s grocery stores. As part of the project, the group Heal the Bay produced this mockumentary about the life cycle of plastic bags in California.
