Update set to get highest ratings tonight by Bruce Banter

BET has moved up the charts in ratings this month thanks to Michael Vick.
The former Atlanta Falcons QB who now plays for the Philadelphia Eagles has been telling his ordeal with dog fighting on as the subject of a 10-part series that began 3 weeks ago on Tuesday night on BET, “The Michael Vick Project.”

I’m Michael Vick,” Vick says over the opening credits. “My fall from grace was tragic, but it was all my fault, and I’m on a mission to get everything back. Not the money and the fame, but to restore my family’s good name.”
Indeed, there are plenty of people in this world who would not regard Vick’s adventures in dog fighting as anything to apologize for in the first place — nothing to go to prison for, anyway, as he did. Atlanta – Chris Rock gave his movie going audiences a few surprises in his documentary Good Hair but yesterday he can home to a surprise of his own when he saw his own wife sporting afro puffs. Chris Rock told radio station 90.3 fm that he was not totally surprised to see Malaak’s new look. Rock said that his wife mentioned how cute Lady of Rage hairdo was several times last week and ordered a few 90’s era albums she was on, off of Amazon.

“My wife doesn’t even listen to rap anymore so I thought that was odd”.

NEW YORK – Max Roach has joined in the criticism of Oprah Winfrey by accusing her of being a “hater” of Jazz Music. The omnipresent American chat show host was moved to defend herself after she was accused recently by jazz greats Sonny Rawlins and Craig Harris of having a beef against Jazz musicians after not having had any Jazz on her show.

Top selling, Wynton Marsalis said that Oprah has invited him on recently but due to a busy schedule, he might decline her offer. In a press release Marsalis only said he has no proof Oprah hates Jazz but was not able to to be reached for further comment, and was not sure if he was going to respond before the July 5th show deadline, though insiders told Playahata.com entertainment correspondent Dassum Bull, that he was going to snub the billionaire talk show host until she could show some loyalty to the art form.
